‘Sahakar Pragya’ was recently launched. (Recently in News)

- The GoI innovative capacity building initiative have been launched for the farmers associated with such entities nationwide.
Objective of Sahakar Pragya:
- To impart training to primary cooperative societies in rural areas (to play bigger roles in Atmanirbhar Bharat call of PM Narendra Modi.)
Key Points To Note about Sahakar Pragya
- There will be 45 new training modules of Sahakar Pragya.
- Farmers in primary cooperatives in rural areas would be trained by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC)
- Sahakar Pragya would be implemented by elaborated network of 18 Regional Training Centres (RTC) across India.
- These RTC are run by the Haryana-based Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research and Development (LINAC) that works under the National Cooperative Development Corporation.
- Sahakar Pragya shall enhance NCDC’s training capacity by 18-fold through an elaborate network of 18 Regional Training Centres across the country by the dedicated LINAC set up and fully funded by NCDC.
