Classification of wheat

  • In India, only 3 species of wheat are economically important. (This is asked in IBPS Agriculture Field Officer Exam 2018)
  • (i) Triticum aestivum(common bread wheat) contributes 87 % of wheat production.(This is asked in M P Agriculture Development Officer Exam 2020)
